CCeV study prizes 2016
By awarding the “CCeV study prizes”, innovative final theses (bachelor, master) in the field of composites are being appreciated.
The submitted papers have to deal with fiber-reinforced composites or fiber composite technology and have to meet the high level of development respectively the requirements of the market and industry. They are to be application-oriented, relevant to the industry and related to practice.
The theses are assessed by a jury, consisting of technical experts from the CFRP industry:
Günther Deinzer, Audi AG
Prof. Clemens Dransfeld, University of Applied Sciences and Art Northwestern Switzerland
Dr. Tilo Hauke, SGL Group
Prof. Dr. André Baeten, University of Applied Sciences Augsburg
Marco Zichner, Korropol GmbH
The CCeV study prizes are endowed with € 1000 each.
Closing date: July 1st 2016
CCeV study prizes 2015
The CCeV study prizes were awarded as part of the Carbon Composites symposium on December 2nd 2015 in Augsburg.
Congratulations to both winners Mr. Severin Neudorfer and Mr. Milan Harnischfeger!
Milan Harnischfeger (on the right) was the winner in the category bachelor’s thesis with his paper “Testing of Polymer Composite Piping Components with Multilayer Fiber Architectures”. Winner in the category master’s thesis was Severin Neudorfer (on the left) with his work “Modelling and Simulation of Braided and Filament-wound Composite Torsion-Shaft”.
In the course of the Carbon Composites symposium at the Messe Augsburg, both this year’s winners were able to personally accept their prize presented by Prof. André Baeten on December 2nd 2015.
In addition, they presented their theses in the accompanying exhibition and were ready to answer the questions of the interested visitors.
